"Thirteenth Step" is A Perfect Circle's sophomore effort. This group wasn't on the radio until this album's single,
"Weak and Powerless" was out. You might remember Maynard James Keenan, lead singer from the band "Tool",
A Perfect Circle is his side-project. This group also features a lot more former band members, like: Billy Howerdel (Tool's
guitar tech), Josh Freese (Guns n' Roses' ex-drummer), James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins' guitarist), and Jeordie White (Marilyn
Manson's bassist). I like this album a lot. They provide soft, melodic rock, often heavy, uncommon in other bands. My favorite
song on the album is "The Noose". If you like Tool, then you'll love Maynard's side-project, A Perfect Circle.
